Does your dog have a few bad habits you could live without?
Does she lunge at other dogs when all you want is to take a polite, leisurely walk? Are you struggling with persistent housebreaking issues, puppy nipping, digging, barking, or jumping on visitors? Is she anxious when you go to work? Having difficulty getting along with other dogs in the house? For those kinds of problem areas, Behavior Modification is what you need.
Here is how to get started:
- Check to ensure you are in our service area. We cover Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, DTC, Lone Tree, south Denver/Englewood. If not, I can refer you to a talented trainer in your area
- Request a Behavior Modification session to schedule your first session
- Fill out the New Behavior Modification Client Form so I have the info I need
Behavior modification is not the same as Obedience Training.
While teaching your dog Obedience has amazing benefits, it is Behavior Modification that really causes a dog to alter behaviors that you are having difficulty living with.
We work carefully with your dog using the latest techniques. Your dog will learn new ways to think clearly, relax under pressure and make good decisions. Like learning to ski, or learning a new language, it takes time. But it is a beautiful thing to watch your dog become more capable, confident and well-mannered.
Follow-up sessions are often necessary in the case of fearfulness, anxiety or aggression. Follow-ups are one hour, and cost $95. While some problems are resolved within our first session, more serious, deep-seated issues often take more. So I will remain in your corner with follow up visits, email and phone support.
Training costs time and money, but that investment really pays off when you have a relationship with your dog you can truly enjoy!
